Designed by Luiz Paulo Andrade Arquitetos, the PLM HOUSE project stands as a testament to bespoke architecture catering to individual client needs, marrying aesthetics with functionality. According to the residents, the primary decision that shaped the project was the bifurcation of the structure into a single-storey house for the elderly owners and a multi-level dwelling for the children and grandchildren. This layout contributed immensely to the house's functionality, presenting a seamless blend of indoor spaces, the garden, and leisure areas on the ground floor.

The unique location and planning of the PLM HOUSE provided a lasting sanctuary for the dwellers during the difficult times of the coronavirus pandemic. The design's distinctiveness was further amplified by its relationship with the landscape, particularly the unobstructed views of the golf course. This ground-level orientation of the house also facilitated easy access to all amenities, catering specifically to the convenience of the elderly occupants.

Architect Luiz Paulo's intimate familiarity with the family, cultivated over a span of 20 years, proved crucial in tailoring the design to their lifestyle. Architectural solutions, such as prioritizing privacy and functionality within the master suite and strategic placement of the wine cellar, were particularly appreciated by the residents. The finish with cement laminate added a contemporary touch to the house and ensured ease of maintenance.

Described as 'incredible' by its residents, the design of PLM HOUSE offers an interesting visual narrative. Even six years after construction, the house remains an object of curiosity, with its architectural language beautifully intertwined with the house's functionality. The decor, harmoniously integrated with the architectural design, adds to the overall appeal of the space. Many in the community perceive the house as a landmark within the complex, with some even declaring it as the most well-resolved and beautiful residence in the area. Thus, through the PLM HOUSE project, Luiz Paulo has manifested an exquisite blend of functionality and aesthetics that serves its inhabitants in harmony with their unique needs and lifestyle.
