Our distinguished panel of experts is drawn from diverse fields and countries to ensure a comprehensive evaluation process.

Evaluation

The judging for the Architecture Hunter Awards 2024 is scheduled from September through October 2024, embodying a comprehensive approach to recognizing excellence in architecture and design. Our process is structured to celebrate the multifaceted nature of the field, ensuring that each submission is reviewed by jurors with expertise relevant to its specific domain. Submissions will undergo a detailed evaluation based on a five-point scale, focusing on the following criteria:

AESTHETICS | FUNCTIONALITY | RELEVANCE | CONTEXT COHERENCE | ORIGINALITY

The voting process will be conducted through the Architecture Hunter’s online platform, ensuring that the process remains confidential for jurors yet transparent in its methodology. Each vote is digitally processed and contributes to a categorial ranking system, with projects receiving a cumulative score based on their average ratings. This method guarantees that the highest-scoring project in each category is rightfully acknowledged as the winner. Jurors may evaluate multiple entries, and each project may receive votes from different experts, enriching the assessment with diverse perspectives.

If you are a jury member, access the AHA 2024 evaluation platform here.

surat / ahmedabad, india
While Ishita Sitwala has studied architecture from renowned institutes namely Bachelors Of Architecture from SCET, Surat and Masters in Architecture from Cornell University, no later than 3 years into the practice, she ventured into making a career out of her love for photography.

The passion for documenting and capturing buildings budded quite early, while studying architecture, going back to the basics of photography through Lomography and later in Chicago, documenting each & every building during her few months there. But love inspired her to change her path completely. Getting married to an educator who also happened to be a marvelous photographer, Ravi Mistry, re-wrote the success story for her.

It was at this time that a few college friends gave her her first break at documenting their projects, one project led to another, but her eye for details fastened her the way through this new field. She was lucky enough to have gotten published quickly, got to document many privileged projects with some fabulous architects and designers, and she has not looked back ever since.
