The MBS House, designed by Marcos Bertoldi Arquitetos, beautifully manifests a blend of indoor and outdoor living, expertly integrating both to create a home that is not only architecturally sophisticated but also inherently welcoming. At the heart of its design philosophy is the homeowner's desire for a seamless transition between the interior and exterior, which is achieved through an open floor plan. "The idea was always to bring the outside in," the owner said in an interview. "We feel like we're on a large balcony, expanding the space and allowing us to experience both indoors and outdoors simultaneously, integrated with nature."

This is no ordinary house; it is designed to enable viewing from all angles, both inside and out. It is a home that has been deliberately constructed to make the most of the views, incorporating the surrounding environment into its own structure. The owner recounts, "The most beautiful part of the house is being able to see it from all angles, both inside and outside at the same time."

Among the house's surprising aspects is the view towards the forest. The view from the house is described as a "large piece of art" by the owner, who said, "It's cinematic!"

Adding another layer to the MBS House project, the owner's role as proprietor of Greenwood Construction played a significant role in influencing the design and construction decisions. With 26 years of industry experience and an impressive portfolio, Greenwood Construction was well-equipped to handle the intricacies of the project.

"We had the project drawn in our heads," the owner shared, acknowledging the challenges but also expressing the gratification of being both the client and the builder. The MBS House is a cutting-edge project that required an experienced construction company. The dual role of customer and constructor brought with it an interesting blend of anxiety and challenge.

But, as the owner put it, the reward was to be the lucky ones living in this beautiful house. The MBS House stands as a testament to architectural innovation and the visionary integration of the home with its natural surroundings.
