Clínica Alejandría in Valencia, Spain, stands as the confluence of architectural finesse and holistic healthcare, designed by ERRE ARQUITECTURA. Dr. Laura Cubells, the Dermatologist and founder of the clinic, eloquently describes her first reaction upon seeing the completed space: "I felt great satisfaction; it is exactly what I had in mind. Inspired by the Library of Alexandria, the cradle of Mediterranean knowledge, the space perfectly reflects our values of honesty, balance, elegance, and beauty."

The architecture does more than just serve as a backdrop; it enhances the patient experience in significant ways. "It’s not what you do in medicine, or life, but how you do it," explains Dr. Laura. The space—airy, luminous, and warm—is intentionally crafted with natural elements like wood, marble, and clay. It invigorates both the medical team and patients, encouraging generosity, kindness, and sensitivity. "Being in such a space naturally makes you feel good and aligned with our values," she notes.

Feedback from patients is overwhelmingly positive, echoing sentiments like, "It invites calm," and, "I’ve never seen a clinic as beautiful as this." They also commend the attention to detail and feel the space reflects the clinic's care and generosity.

Moreover, the architectural design aligns seamlessly with the ethos of Clínica Alejandría. "We are not a conventional dermatology and aesthetics clinic," says Dr. Laura. The design allows them to maximize their potential in both medical assistance and educational training, while avoiding the cold, impersonal atmosphere often associated with conventional healthcare facilities.
