A Project Where Countryside Living Meets Quiet Innovation

To live well today is no longer simply to inhabit a beautiful space. More than a beautiful composition of spaces, the home has become a place of retreat, connection and awareness, a setting where architecture is expected to respond not only to the lifestyle of its residents, but also to climate, landscape and time. In this context, comfort is no longer understood as something purely visual or functional. It is something atmospheric: the quality of light in a room, the ease of moving between inside and outside, the presence of natural ventilation, the feeling that a house belongs to its surroundings rather than being imposed upon them.
Located in Haras Larissa, in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Casa Larissa embraces this idea through an architecture that is serene, generous and deeply connected to nature. Set within a countryside condominium known for its rural landscape, equestrian culture and leisure infrastructure, the house proposes a refined way of living close to the land, while maintaining the comfort and sophistication of a contemporary residence.
The project, developed by D76, is organized around a clear distinction between social and private areas. The social axis can be fully integrated, encouraging moments of gathering and openness, while the intimate area remains protected and independent. This spatial strategy gives the house a sense of fluidity without compromising privacy, allowing different rhythms of domestic life to coexist naturally.
Large openings, generous proportions and a strong relationship with the garden define the atmosphere of the interiors. Light and air move through the spaces with ease, reinforcing a constant dialogue between the built environment and the landscape. The architecture avoids excess, choosing instead a language of clean lines, warm materials and subtle transitions. Its elegance comes from restraint: from the careful calibration of views, textures and volumes.
Beyond its calm aesthetic, Casa Larissa is also guided by performance. Bioclimatic studies, lighting analysis, thermal comfort strategies, energy generation, water reuse, organic waste treatment and automation systems are all part of the project’s intelligence. Yet these solutions are not displayed as technological spectacle. They operate quietly, enhancing the experience of the house and making daily life more intuitive, efficient and comfortable.
In Casa Larissa, innovation is not an interruption of nature, but a way of living more consciously within it. The result is a home that feels both sophisticated and grounded, a place where design, comfort and environmental awareness come together in a soft, effortless balance.
